The following is a description of what Magone Marine Service inc. has to offer from our home base in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Due to company development and on-going work, the materials and equipment available at any given time may vary.
Facility:
We operate from a 260’ ex-Navy troop transport barge, the “Yahveh Jireh” which is fitted with a pedestal-mounted Manitowoc M70 Sea Crane, an access ramp rated at 75,000 lbs, machine shop, crew quarters, office and various shop spaces. Outside the “Yahveh” is our 200’ x 46’ 1000 ton capacity floating drydock.
Along shore to the north is our 300’ x 90’ dock barge fitted with heavy duty ramps at each end, a smooth concrete work deck and 40’ of water at the dock face. Along shore to the north is a 260’ x 48’ barge used for shallow draft docking and storage. Perpendicular to shore to the north is a 153’ x 50’ barge that is used as a berth for our landing barge “Kashega”. The string of barges that comprise our facility extend 1,200’ on the Dutch Harbor waterfront. Our storage yard is on the adjacent uplands across the road.
